I know it sounds old and boring but working as a local contractor could really work out in terms of income. In a large community you could easily work hours resembling a full-time day and earn very good money. The key to success, once again, is to establish yourself in the community as a well-known and reliable worker. By doing this, you get the visibility needed to get enough customers.
