If you're e.g. a student in need of money and have a good basic education, tutoring younger students in their free time could be a good way to make some money. Especially if you live in a large city/community with lots of wealthy families, you have a very good possibility to find many customers and people in need of help with their school work.
Your fees are something you'll have to work on and think about quite deeply because if they're too high, you'll never find enough customers, and having too low fees is just stupid in all ways... When you're starting your business, a good fee would possibly be 20-25$ per hour. If you look at statistics and average fees for tutors, this amount is more to the lower end of the scale so as you get larger and gain more customers you'll have more possiblities to modify the business into your desired form.

Idea #30: Freelance Writer
Are you very keen on a certain subject or do you just love writin articles and stories regardless of the subject? If you said yes, than you could very well try your wings as a freelance writer working for all kinds of different magazines, newspapers and journals. Freelance writers are actually very common nowadays and they often work for many different businesses at once.
The way it works can change a bit based on what company you're in cooperation with; sometimes you come up with the subject but at times the customer (newspaper etc.) gives you an idea onto which you build your story. Practicing for a career as a freelance writer is actually quite simple; write, write and write!

Idea #29: Firewood
Due to increases in fuel prices and other materials, people have started to look for alternative fuels. They have also become very profitable for their providers and thus the industy has experienced a large growth within the last years. Firewood is, and has always been a alternative and it's now starting to 'light up' once again. It's demand is huge and there's surely room for one more provider.
There's lots of things you can do with firewood; produce it, buy it, sell it, deliver it etc. It's really up to you to choose what you want to specialize on and build upon that.

Idea #27: Flavoured Ice Cubes
During the summer when temperatures are high and people are constaintly in need of refreshment, their drinks need to stay cool despite the weather. Ice cubes are a great way to do this but when they're made out of water they always effect the taste and form of the drink. That's why you should start a business that produces ice cubes that are made out of a specific drink or flavour so that when you put them into you drink to cool it, it doesn't change the taste. The challenge is how to keep the ice cubes frozen as they make their way to the consumer but it's not an impossible task.
